Hi Everyone! My name is Eliza and I am entering my senior year at Salish Kootenai College, where I study Wildlife & Fisheries. I am very passionate about stream restoration, primarily involving salmonid habitat. Since 2011, I’ve worked all over the West, from the Central Coast of California to a remote field site on Kodiak Island, Alaska. I’ve spent the majority of those summers working in the Columbia River Basin around Eastern Washington. I love that my work this summer is focused on aquatic invasive species near the headwaters of the Columbia River system. Along with all of the hard work this summer, you’ll most likely find me floating around in my canoe, backpacking in the mountains, or fly-fishing these pristine Montana streams.
