Hello! My name is Olivia Cacciatore and I am an environmental science and geography double major in the Department of Geography and the Environment and a biology minor at Villanova University. I’ve been working on research focused on wetland ecosystems for over a year now, first in saltwater marsh systems in Plum Island, Massachusetts, and now agriculturally affected freshwater systems in southern Minnesota as part of Dr. Hansen’s team. My plans for the future include working in conservation and ecosystem restoration doing field research and getting my graduate degree in conservation science or a related field. I am senior co-captain of the Villanova Women’s Swimming and Diving team. In my spare time I love hiking, swimming, and painting. I’m really excited to live and work in beautiful Minneapolis this summer!
