  1. Diana,

I am extremely interested in applying; however, could you see an Environmental Public Health major fitting in? I have some basic engineering coursework for my minor as well. Thanks!

  2. The recommendation letter link does not allow any of my professor write anything, can you please look into this, thank you and its still also dated 2016.

  3. The ethnic group section of the application says to choose ALL that apply but only allows you to select one. Is there a way to selected more or should I submit as other?

  4. Hello!
Please confirm that the deadline is March 2, 2017. Page one of the Word version application says: Deadline February 20, 2017. Thank you! -Cat

  5. Would an Anthropology major with a sustainability minor be eligible? I would love to be majoring in sustainability as a major aswell, but it isn’t offered at my school. However, many of my anthropology classes are rooted in environmental topics. I would love to apply, let me know, thanks!

  6. Hello my question is, are the letter of reference due the same day as the application or can it be turned in latern and if so when is the due dates for letter?. I just saw this REU and would love to apply to it and I do have mentors to write me a letter but they may need a few days.

    • Please do apply and ask for letters. We will begin reviewing applications as soon as possible after the deadline though, so try to get the letters in within the next week, sooner rather than later. There’s no hard deadline for letters, but they do support your application and we try to make decisions as expeditiously as possible!

  7. Hello, I have sent in all application materials but my recommender did not get a confirmation that his letter was received and is worried that he did not properly submit it. Is it possible that this can be checked and I can be notified via email! Thank you so much!

  8. Hi Diana,

I am in the process of finishing my application for the summer of 2018. I saw that the deadline is February 19, 2018. However, the website now says that the deadline is February 26, 2019. Is it supposed to say 2018 or is the no deadline extension at all?

  9. Hi there,
I was just wondering what the best contact would be in order to assure my application has been received?

  10. If it isn’t possible to get an electronic unofficial transcript, since I am currently abroad, can you upload a word document with a compilation of screen-shots of my unofficial transcript for the 2019 summer application?
