To apply to the REU SLAWR 2019:
- As part of the application process, you must register with the National Science Foundation (NSF) program at http://www.nsfreu.org. The website will ask you to create a user account and assign you a unique REU ID. Be sure to take note of the REU ID assigned to you because you will need to provide it on your application to the REU on Sustainable Land and Water Resources. After you have registered, please return and continue with this application.
- Fill out the online form available at REU SLAWR 2019 Application We recommend that you prepare your answers in a word processing program before you begin submitting (you can then copy and paste). If you’d like a word copy to compose a draft on you can download it HERE, but all applications must be submitted via the online application form. You will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript to be uploaded at the bottom of the application form.

Application and Eligibility
The program is open to undergraduate students majoring in civil engineering, geosciences, ecology, mathematics, or related fields. We encourage applications from students of all genders who are Native American, tribal college students, community college students, non-traditional students, veterans, students who have been historically under-represented in their discipline and students who are first-generation college students. The program provides transportation, housing, and food or full kitchens depending on location, plus a $500/week stipend to all participants.
